		<description>I&#039;ll only be happy when marketers give us a device that can turn carbon dioxide into oxygen.  Just think what could happen if we put a few of those machines on every street corner!

Actually, non-snarkily, I think I like the idea of a banana being next to the chips and candy bars in a convenience store, and competitively priced in comparison to them.  It won&#039;t stop me from buying bunches for 49 cents a pound at the full-service grocery, but when I&#039;m away from the house and looking for a quick snack, it seems like an option that I&#039;d appreciate.

		<description>I saw this too and wondered why they thought it would work? If they can charge a buck for a single banana so could the store, buy a bunch and sell them individually without the plastic for a little less than the Chiquita version.

I wonder if the Chiquita have additional preservatives injected?
