I forwarded this to my son's cello teacher who I am sure will appreciate it, having also counted the number of times she's played that progression in Pachelbel. Last year Nathaniel's cello class played Pachelbel but it was arranged so that many of them got to play more than those 6 notes. Which I am thankful for because of all the practicing he did at home.
personally i love Canon in D overall. but yes i can imagine the pain of paravonian and other cellists having to go through the same 8 quarter notes 50+ times with the violinists getting all the glory hahaha... same with lead guitar and bass... eee
